Before entering the adult entertainment industry, Coco produced adult content independently through subscription-based platforms and Premium Snapchat. In an interview with My Favorite Pornstar, she explained that this work caught the attention of a friend, who introduced her to an agency representing adult models. That opportunity marked her professional debut in 2020, when she was just 21 years old.
The origin of her stage name has also been explained by Coco herself. According to her, "Coco" was a nickname she had been known by among friends and neighbors long before beginning her career, while "Lovelock" was chosen simply because she liked the way it sounded. She added that she believed the surname was also the name of a town, which further influenced her decision.
Following her debut, Coco quickly gained attention from both producers and audiences thanks to her youthful appearance, outgoing personality, and petite stature—standing approximately 4 feet 10 inches (147 cm) tall—which would become one of her trademark characteristics.
